Dancers from Janeeda's Isis Rising Dance Ensemble perform every Friday & Saturday evening at the beautiful Greek Restaurant, Ammos. It sits on the ocean front at the beach in the Sandcastle Hotel on Atlantic Avenue and 14th Street and offers a full dining room and patio. The food is exquisite, the wait staff is excellent, the ambience is wonderful and the entertainment is outstanding! :) At this time of year Ammos presents 1 professional Belly Dance show every Saturday evening featuring a dancer from Janeeda's Isis Rising Dance Ensemble. Dancers from Janeeda's Isis Rising Dance Ensemble perform the 1st Saturday evening of every month at the Granby Street Bistro located at 225 Granby Street in downtown Norfolk. It sits between Brooke and Tazewell Streets and features a quaint outdoor patio. The Middle Eastern Menu is wonderful, the wait staff is excellent, the ambience is eclectic and the entertainment is outstanding! :) Please call for reservations & double check performance times 757-622-7003.
Dancers from Janeeda's Isis Rising Dance Ensemble also perform every Saturday evening at Mazzika Restaurant & Hookah Lounge located at 4800 Colley Avenue in Norfolk. The Middle Eastern cuisine is fabulous, the decor is fashionable and once more, the entertainment is outstanding! :)

Isis Rising took 1st runner up in the Stellar Advantage international troupe competition on August 27th 2010 in Orlando Florida. The winning troupe was "Troupe Gaia" from Costa Rica South America. The multi level eliminations for this event were going on for months ahead of the finals. While Isis Rising would have been ecstatic if they had taken first place we were all extremely happy to have made the finals and then.....to be "First Runner Up" It was a privilege to have been part of such a wonderful event.
