Dancers from Janeeda's Isis Rising Dance Ensemble perform every Saturday evening at the beautiful Greek Restaurant, Ammos. It sits on the ocean front at the beach in the Sandcastle Hotel on Atlantic Avenue and 14th Street and offers a full dining room and patio. The food is exquisite, the wait staff is excellent, the ambience is wonderful and the entertainment is outstanding! :) At this time of year Ammos presents 1 professional Belly Dance show every Saturday evening featuring a dancer from Janeeda's Isis Rising Dance Ensemble. Friday August 27th 2010 - Isis Rising Music and Dance Ensemble competes in "Stellar Advantage's" Troupe Challenge in Orlando Florida
Isis Rising took 1st runner up in this international competition. The winning troupe was "Troupe Gaia" from Costa Rica South America. The multi level eliminations for this event were going on for months ahead of the finals in Orlando Florida on August 27th. While Isis Rising would have been ecstatic if they had taken first place we were all extremely happy to have made the finals and then.....to be "First Runner Up" It was a privilege to have been part of such a wonderful event.

Saturday September 4th 2010 - Ammos Greek Restaurant - Labor Day weekend celebration with a full floor show at dusk by Janeeda's Isis Rising Music and Dance Ensemble

Saturday September 18th 2010 - Earthdance Festival at Hunt Club Farm on London Bridge Road in Virginia Beach. Non-stop entertainment from 11 am until 10 pm. Wonderful bands, (Bits and Pieces, Yes Now Is, Camareta, & more) Belly Dancers (of course) Fire Dancers, Hula Dancers, crafts, children's activities etc. Plus much more. Isis Rising will be performing at 5:45 pm) The highlight of the day is the GLOBAL PLAYING OF THE BEAUTIFUL PEACE PRAYER at 7 pm. This is followed by more drums led by Merlin of the Drums of Tuatha to help drive those energies and thoughts of peace into the matrix Then Isis Rising will lead the incredible Fire Dancers into the field, you don't want to miss that. I think it's better then fireworks! Then to round out the day my favorite band Bits & Pieces, will begin playing after the fire dancers. They're fabulous musicians with great energy and.....Janeeda will be singing at least one or 2 songs with them.

Friday September 24th 2010 - "Open Mic Hafla" at the Heritage Store on Laskin Road in Virginia Beach. Donation at the door to help cover rent and paper products. Please bring something to share. Snacks, beverage or real food. Nice little intimate cabaret setting. Musicians, dancers, poets, comedians, all talent welcome.
